Who are we?

E-charter team, is a group of sailing enthusiasts. In 2003 the webmaster had the honour to meet and become friend with a few yacht owners in Kalamaki marina in Alimos Athens. After many talks about yacht charter with his friends, he decides to make this website so that he could give the chance to the yacht owners to have direct communication with the customers. This could save money and time to both of them. Others joined his idea and work as volunteers to make this website come true.

After a lot of thinking, e-charter becomes real and we started running this website just as an informational website. The Webmaster just makes sure that all automatic mail forwarders work fine. We do have a couple of issues to solve, according to money for web hosting etc, but for the moment we are ok. We accepted a small but very important donation (web hosting & domain paid)  from our friends, so there should be no problem for the moment.
